What’s a Maccabee?

Our public relations and online marketing firm is named after the Maccabees, a small band of guerilla warriors in 167 B.C. who defeated Syria and came very close to vanquishing the vast armies of Rome.

“Maccabee” means “sledgehammer” in Aramaic, in honor of the ancient Maccabees’ valor in battle against far larger forces.

So too, Maccabee has helped clients overwhelm competitors and emotionally engage consumers by using the power of public relations to drive brand awareness and achieve mission-critical business objectives. Are you ready to wield the sledgehammer of the Maccabee agency against your competitors?
