San Francisco-based Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants and the Minneapolis law firm of Henson & Efron have chosen Maccabee Group as their public relations agency. Kimpton, which acquired management of the Grand Hotel Minneapolis in October 2010, hired Maccabee Group to create awareness of the property’s transition into a Kimpton hotel and the friendly services and amenities travelers and locals can come to expect. These include personalized preferences, signature leopard print robes, Guppy Love (companion goldfish for lonesome travelers), custom Frette linens, pet-friendly services and more than 100 eco-friendly EarthCare operating practices, among other attributes. At the same time, the Minneapolis-based law firm of Henson & Efron chose Maccabee Group to coordinate media relations, social media marketing, brand strategy, new business development and corporate communications for Henson & Efron’s 35-attorney firm with practice groups spanning business law, litigation, family law and estate planning, real estate and tax law.
